Madonna and New Moon cleared up!

So, as everyone must know by now, there were some rumors going around about Madonna possibly being involved with New Moon. Now, we can clear up some the rumors, half of them anyways. She may still produce songs for the soundtrack. Hopefully, everything will be confirmed soon.

Widespread Internet chatter that Madonna may participate in some capacity in the Twilight sequel, New Moon, may be only partly true, a source close to the production tells EW. Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the movie series, has no plans to cast the pop star and sometime actor in New Moon. However, because Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, is a producer on the project, there is some talk of her providing songs for the sequel. Still, no deals have been made yet, and the plans haven’t progressed beyond the that’d be cool stage.

Madonna wants a part in 'New Moon'

There has been lots of 'New Moon' casting rumors and such, but this one will bring controversy to the Twilight world. I completely agree with the last statement. (Personal Opinion)

Rumor has it Madonna will somehow be involved in the Twilight sequel. Let’s just hope it’s her music, and she won’t be taking on a role as a vampire!

Madge’s manager Guy O’Seary is the executive producer on the flick, and apparently wants her on board in some shape or form.

According to E! News, Madge will be both acting and lending her voice to the soundtrack of New Moon. We’re not quite sure this is what Stephanie Meyer had in mind when she wrote the books. What’s next? A cameo role for Lourdes too?

Part of the reason Twilight did so well was because relatively unknown actors starred in the film, and blew everyone away. It just seems so gimmicky to have Madonna join the cast. Singing on the soundtrack we’re fine with. But not an actual role in the film!

Robert Pattinson wants to spend more time with has fans.

The British actor - who became a household name playing vampire Edward Cullen in the recent Twilight movie - says he feels guilty when people wait for hours to meet him and then he has five seconds to sign an autograph.

"You have to rush through everything so much," he said. "I just feel terrible every single time because people have queued up since 4 o'clock in the morning for five seconds...and that's it.

"I feel quite bad half the time."
When it was mentioned that a signing had been canceled because of crowd control issues the previous day, Rob, 22, said: "They did do it in the end though.

"And it was still pretty crazy then, everybody came back. "I didn't realize but... they said it was canceled so the majority of people would go away. I think."

I think this is soooso cute, Rob's a total sweetheart !

Fox News has their list of 'Hottest Under 30' and surprise, surprise, Rob made the list! I'm glad that he's getting on all these lists even if they are only "Hottest" lists. I hope someday, people recognize his acting ability and put him in lists for that. I do agree though, he is drop dead gorgeous.

13. Robert Pattinson, 22, gained some recognition as Cedric in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," but it was his role as Edward Cullen in the ridiculously successful flick "Twilight" that vaulted him into our Top 30. Vampires are hot.

A couple new updates, as you may or may not have noticed!

1) New header and page colors, I think it looks more brighter than the other version I had. I have to thank Cam's shirt for all the colors, lol :)
2) New poll, just added that. You can vote for mutiple answers in this one so vote, vote, vote!
3) New quote & new picture of the moment.
4) The music player! The previous one I had was really bad, some of the songs didn't work, and it just didn't match the blog. So, I found a site where I could create my own! Fidgeting around with it, I found out that I could add a picture slideshow to it, which I think makes it look better!

And I made a promise to myself, the posts will look more organized from now on. They didn't look too bad, but I'm going to come up with my own posting style. So, look out for that.

Star Magazine is claiming that Timberlake, and Efron, are upset that Pattinson who is a newcomer in their eyes, has been offered a leading role - according to a tabloid spy.

“Everyone in the industry is shocked that Rob is already getting such big roles,” says an insider. Zac and Justin have been working for a lot longer than he has. There is a bit of jealousy there. Zac’s people want him to have the lead. And Justin’s people have asked that he get a lot of screen time.”

New Moon, due Nov. 20 and based on the second volume of the Twilight saga, expands upon a supernatural love triangle. While vampire Edward (Rob Pattinson) runs away to Italy when he believes his mortal teen queen Bella (Kristen Stewart) is dead, she makes time with the less-complicated Jacob (Taylor Lautner) as he finally reveals his hairier, scarier side.

Director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) picks up where Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke left off on the production that starts shooting March 23. One of his first tasks on the sequel was deciding to keep Lautner, whose gangly Native American high-schooler in the first film transforms into a hulking giant over the course of the book series as he fulfills his tribe's destiny.

"Taylor is a formidable guy, kind of a great tool in the toolbox," Weitz says of the nearly 17-year-old actor who has been working out daily and has packed on 29 pounds, most of it muscle. "In the first movie, we did not see or recognize how dangerous a character he could be." As for Taylor himself, "he can kill me with his left pinky. But he is too nice to do that. "It's definitely possible. I really hope it works out," Fanning told Hitfix.com while promoting her latest flick Push. "It would be a really fantastic experience I'm sure."

Director Chris Weitz is so confident that Fanning is right for the part, he offered it to without even an audition. Filming of the much-anticipated flick begins in March in the U.S. and Italy.

A member of the deadly Volturi, Jane is described in a casting notice as a petite blonde with a "Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises."

Taylor & Cam : Breakout Stars of 2009

TheDailyBeast has posted their breakout stars of 2009. It's great that they are recognizing Cam and Taylor because even though they had smaller parts in Twilight, Taylor becomes a big part in New Moon and Cam has lots of movies coming in the year.

Taylor Lautner:

After originating the role of Jacob Black in the original crazy successful teen-vampires-stare-and-brood Twilight, there was talk Taylor Lautner wouldn’t be cast in the sequel. Fortunately, the director was convinced and Lautner is bulking up to play the older role in the follow-up New Moon, which will be rushed into theaters this November. Robert Pattinson, watch your back. Teen girls, get your screaming pipes ready.

Cam Gigandet:

Some teen-TV fans may remember Cam as the guest character on The O.C. responsible for killing off Mischa Barton, but he’s going to be known for much more than Marissa-cide after this year. Cam has a whopping seven movies in production for 2009—and those are just the ones that have been officially announced. After his breakout role as a pale vampire in last fall’s Twilight, Cam will appear in Pandorum (a thriller about a spaceship with Dennis Quaid), Five Star Day (a coming of age story with Jena Malone), and Kid Cannabis (the true story of a 19-year-old millionaire pot dealer), among others.

Fanning close to signing 'New Moon' deal

Teen star Dakota Fanning confirmed Saturday she's close to signing to do the Jane role in the Twilight sequel New Moon which starts filming in March. Jane is the Italian Vulturi vampire and it would mark the first time Fanning would take on the role of a villain in a film. 'It's defintely something I look forward to doing," said Fanning during an L. A. interview for the sci-fi film Push opening Feb. 6. If Fanning were to sign on for New Moon -- and it looks likely -- it would fire up an already blazing film series based on Stepehenie Meyer's best selling book saga. The first film in the series made over $300 million world wide. Not surprisingly, New Moon is scheduled to open in November, which is a quick turnaround. According to insiders Fanny's representatives will meet with the filmmakers this week but both parties are near a deal and are just working out the numbers. Although Fanning said she's hopeful, she's waiting for the deal to become official before she will discuss the movie or the series, although she admitted to looking forward to working with New Moon director Chris Weitz. "We'll see," she said.

Dakota Fanning is being considered for the role of Jane in New Moon. Access Hollywood caught up with the star and she talked about the possibility of being Jane.

“I think it’s too soon to tell if I’ll for sure be doing it, but it’s so great,” she told Access Hollywood on Saturday at the junket for her latest film, 'Push'. “I’m a really big fan of that series and the first film and all the actors in it, so it would be wonderful.”

If she does get the part, Dakota said she won’t have to spend too much time in the makeup chair.
“I don’t think they’ll have to put a lot of makeup on me,” she joked. “I’m pretty white already.”
A rep for Summit Entertainment added: “We are considering all actors that have the unique requirements for the look of Jane — Dakota being one of them"

Reports are saying that Dakota Fanning may be playing Jane in New Moon (she meets with Chris Weitz next week), so obiviously, they need someone to play Alec. Who has Entertainment Weekly suggested? Do you agree with their choices?

With news that Dakota Fanning will meet with New Moon director Chris Weitz next week to formally discuss her being offered the role of vampire Jane in the Twilight sequel, it's time for us to help Weitz find his Alec, Jane's bloodsucker brother. According to the books, Alec is a pale boy (surprise) who could be Jane's twin. "His hair was darker, and his lips were not as full, but he was just as lovely," Stephenie Meyer writes in New Moon. Elijah Wood is a popular suggestion, since Jane and Alec are small in stature, but I doubt that the man who starred in the Lord of the Rings trilogy would want to be backburner in a Twilight sequel. Then again, if Weitz (or the director of any future Twilight sequels) wanted to go off-book and flesh out the fascinating Volturi and their guard with Meyer's approval, I don't think anyone would mind. Add America Ferrera to the long list of actresses who are supposedly up for a role in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

USA Today talked to 'New Moon' director Chris Weitz, he discusses werewolves, vampires and what Edward and Jacob represent to Bella.

“

The backdrop of the Twilight books might be a gothic fantasy, but the filmmaker sees his characters as expressions of emotional attitudes shared by young people. "One of the great things of Stephenie Meyer's novels is that she keeps them very grounded in the real world," Weitz says. "The vampires are about distance and reserve," he says about the contrast between his male leads.
"Edward represses his desire to do harm. Jacob is very warm and emotional, but also feels the heat of anger. When he transforms, it's like losing your temper — sudden, explosive and lightning-quick." Where Bella is concerned, he adds, "Edward represents the unattainable perfection of first love. Jacob is friendship.

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson may be unattached at the moment, but he definitely believes in love at first sight.

"It’s absolutely possible that you can meet someone on the street and suddenly fall in love with that person," says Rob, 22. "That often happens to me," he laughs.

The 6'1" British hunk, who recently said he thinks girls prefer bad boys over nice guys, insists he is always a gentleman. "Even when I don’t follow every rule, I think I’m a gentleman," he says. "I don’t tell [a girl] how she has to be for me. I don’t want her to change herself for me."

At the Sundance, MTV caught up with Kristen and asked some questions about New Moon, article link below.

"Chris is — on top of him being a really sweet guy — he is entirely devoted," she explained. "And he's very clearly not doing the movie just because it's the next big thing. He really likes it a lot."

Another concern in Stewart's mind over the past few weeks had been which actor will play the pivotal role of Jacob Black — and whether she and this mystery man would be able to establish the same sort of chemistry that she had with Robert Pattinson in "Twilight." Now that Taylor Lautner has been re-cast in the role, however, she's convinced that they can make it work.

"Yeah, absolutely," Stewart said. "I'm so glad they didn't have to find somebody else; we already had him! I didn't understand all the deliberation on [whether to bring him back]. But now that it's set, we can all rest.

Rob Pattinson wants to pursue his dream of becoming a screenwriter.

Robert Pattinson could soon be getting tips from Twilight author Stephenie Meyer as he wants to become a screenwriter.

He might be a fantastic actor but Robert has a real desire to have his own production company by the time his Twilight career is over.

Rob has already written several scripts so knows what he is talking about.

He told philly.com: "I guess I'm just a control freak."
"I don't like the way the film industry is... If you come with a good script and then it goes to the studios and gets financing, it all gets changed because they want to make money."

"And it's like, how do you know if it's going to make money or not? All you're doing is making it generic when you do that, and making it generic is no guarantee that it's going to make money either, the only way to abandon that is to take risks."

"And you need to be able to trust people. So you get a company together with people you know are good and you know work hard and you can make good stuff.
"That's kind of what I want to do."

It's possible. I can exclusively report that the 14-year-old child star—she turns 15 on Feb. 23—is in talks to play Jane opposite Robert Pattinson & Co. in New Moon, the upcoming sequel to box office megahit Twilight.

There were no auditions,” a source reveals. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.” Jane is a member of Italy’s Volturi, the most deadly group of bloodsucking killers in author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series.

In the casting notice we got our hands on earlier this month, Jane is described as a petite blonde with a “Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises.” While fellow Volturi guards Demetri & Felix “are three times the size of her, they are terrified of her,” the casting notice reads.
Coincidentally (or maybe not), an online petition started by a Twilight fan already asks the studio, Summit Entertainment, to cast Fanning because she would be “perfect” for the role.

Early last month, Entertainment Weekly suggested Pushing Daisies star and Broadway diva Kristin Chenoweth. “Her voice is certainly high enough, and at 4'11'', she's also short enough,” writer Amy Wilkinson proposed. Director, Chris Weitz is expected to start shooting New Moon in March in the U.S. and Italy. If all goes as planned, the movie will hit theaters on Nov. 20.

Mädchen: Would you like to be a clairvoyant?
ROB: No, definetly not! I don’t wanna read thoughts. I really don’t wanna know what the others around me are thinking (laughs).

Mädchen: Do you believe in love on the first bite?
ROB: Yes, I do. It’s absolutely possible that you meet somebody in the streets and you suddenly fall in love with this person. That often happens to me (laughs).

Mädchen: Are you romantic?
ROB: When I was fifteen I had a date with a girl at the zoo. But we didn’t have enough money to pay the entrance. So we ran along the fence of the zoo on the outside. It was raining and we didn’t have an umbrella with us, I think that was romantic.

Mädchen: Are you a gentleman?
ROB: Of course! Even when I don’t follow every rule I think I’m a gentleman

Mädchen: What do you do to be polite during a date?

The Vanessa Hudgens audition for Leah Clearwater is a RUMOR.
Her rep said : “I don’t know anything about the audition. As far as I know, it’s just a rumor”

And this is really exciting , but VERY OLD NEWS, Taylor Lautner is still playing Jacob in New Moon! I was so happy when I found out about this, the casting rumors were making me angry.
Have any of you seen his muscles lately? They're yummy. Taylor obiviously loves the role to go through 8 months of sweatin' it out in a gym. That shows freaking commitment, i love him for that.

The Hollywood Reporter had an interview with Summit Entertainment executives, they talk about New Moon's budget, location, and how Edward will be present in more parts than the book.

THR: What happened with Catherine?
Friedman: Basically, we had a different vision of what the movie should be, and we decided that the best course of action was to part (ways as) friends. She has done a fantastic job with "Twilight" and continues to promote it. She's still working with us on the movie -- the DVD, she's doing her director's cut. We just agreed that we had a different vision.
THR: Will "New Moon" stay in the same $38 million budget range?
Friedman: No. The next one will be higher than that. We believe that the film will naturally be more expensive. Sequels become more expensive, and we have more special effects.
Wachsberger: And locations. In the second movie there is a sequence in Italy.
THR: There is talk that because Edward is out of the picture for much of "New Moon," there will be elements of the second and third books combined into the second movie.
Wachsberger: No, but Edward is present for the movie.

Since Twilight, people have been pretending to be Rob on social networks like Myspace, Facebook,etc. They've confirmed that the Myspace was fake, and now they have proved this facebook account to be fake. Everyone now knows that this account ISN'T run by the real Rob Pattinson. Thanks to TwilightersAnonymous for this news, this was from EONLINE!

I’ve been seeing some pretty obvious posers on Facebook pretending to be celebrities. There’s a particularly bad one claiming to be Robert Pattinson, hitting on the girls who add him. Do you know of any place the fans can go to check if a Facebook page is legit? —Shonna

A Facebook page owned by a “Rob T Pattz” who hits on every chick who passes through, and that supposedly represents one of the most hotly desired actors on Earth? And you thought it might be fake? Gee, what gave it away?

As you’ve already deduced, I can guarantee, 200 percent, that the page is fake. In fact I can guarantee that every single Rob Pattinson profile is also a fake.

How? Well…

…because I called Pattinson’s manager today, and the person who picked up the phone told me that the actor—who, to be fair, possesses many other impressive communication tools, including hair that can pick up radio waves from Neptune—is not on Facebook. At all.
But what about other sites? Well, there’s no one place you can go to confirm that, but there are telltale signs of fakedom.

Here they are, courtesy of Brandee Barker, a spokeswoman for Facebook.
1. Is the person adding many, many friends very rapidly? A certain type of friend? Like, say, women? “Celebrities that are in fact managing their own profiles usually have a more diverse fan base,” Barker says.
2. Check out the photos. “Are they personal photos taken by the celebrity behind the scenes, or are they all photos you could pull off the Web from anywhere?”
3. Lastly, there’s the Facebook team themselves. If you suspect a page is fake, it violates company rules. Click the “report” button on the suspicious profile. That sends a red flag to Facebook staff, who will then examine the profile and reach out to a star’s publicist to determine authenticity. If the page disappears after a week or two, you know it ain’t legit.

FORKS, Wash. - Somebody has pilfered the gas cap off the town's fictional heroine's pickup.
Forks Chamber of Commerce officials think it was an overly zealous fan who pinched the chrome gas cap off Bella's pickup a few weeks ago, said Mike Gurling, Forks Visitor Center office manager. "We are guessing some fan wanted an extra special souvenir," he said.
The pickup is on display at the center as an example of what Isabella Swan, the famed heroine of the quartet of fictional Twilight books, would have driven around Forks, where the novels are set.

welcome to diehardtwilighter, a brand new twilight fansite. Here you can find updates on New Moon once filming begins, news on the actors of Twilight, and everything else! I will try and update as much as I can. I started this because I've been going on other fansites for a long time, and said to myself "wouldn't it be fun to make your own fansite?". The answer to that question would be yes. I'm still learning how to use the blogger program, so if your reading, just be patient. This fansite may not have all the other perks of the other ones out there, but it's still going to be good!
